Solicitors on behalf of the owner of a luxury London apartment commissioned CEERISK to investigate the cause of a water escape in the ceiling void. We started our investigation on the spot, inspecting the scene of the loss at the flat where the water escape occurred. We had access to the roof space where the cold and hot water systems were frequently serviced by a subcontractor.
Based on all the available facts, as well as our expertise, abilities, and experience, we found that the water escape happened as a result of a workmanship defect during recent plumbing installations. We also determined that the contractor failed to provide adequate measures to prevent the water escape. We prepared an expert report which was used by the client in their claim against the contractor.
