As demand for services grows in the UK and worldwide, CEERISK is pleased to welcome back Alik Ahmed to our team as Technical Director of Engineering Services.
Alik will be responsible for meeting the increase demands from the insurance sector in the United Kingdom. His past experience as a forensic engineer serving insurers in the UK grants him the experience and skill to investigate incidents and losses across many sectors, including fire and explosion, machinery breakdown, water escape and building collapse.
Over the years Alik has drawn upon his experience as a Chartered Engineer with the Chartered Institute of Building System Engineers to provide services in many sectors. As well as his work with insurers, Alik also served as a Facilities Engineer for the National Health System (NHS) in the UK, one of the largest trusts in England. He then joined a university in Newcastle as Facilities Engineer in charge of all aspects of facilities and building systems.
He draws upon this background to provide property risk assessments to facility management clients across different sectors, from universities and residential buildings, to hospitals and other specialist buildings.
Alik has also been called upon by legal professionals to provide CPR Part 35 reports on matters that involve building facilities and operation.
